As the Covid 19 pandemic keeps ravaging through the country, the Kenya Broadcasting Coporation(KBC) is the latest institution that been hit.
Two of the staff at KBC have tested positive of the Corona virus.
The news was confirmed by KBC Managing Director Naim Bilal in a memo seen online.
“Despite our good efforts, it has emerged that two of our staff have tested positive for Covod-19. While appropriate protocols have been activated to prevent infection from the affected staff, the situation calls for enhanced personal responsibility within and outside BH to protect ourselves, colleagues, families and others.
In regard, you are reminded to fully comply with all Governments and our own corporate regulations on Covid-19. Importantly, we must wear ours masks regularly at all times at BH and public places, wash or sanitize our hands and observe social-distancing” reads part of the statement.”
In the statement, the management at BH has since urged people to take it up personal responsibility to keep Corona away.
Further urged employees to comply with government regulations on matters COVID -19.
Reopening of counties
This comes hours after President Kenyatta eased travel restrictions in Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera.
This as a measure of slowly reopening the economy. Something many of us were hoping for.
