Mercy Nyaithiru dies in the United States after a long battle with Cancer
Judge Njoki Ndung’u of the Supreme Court of Kenya is morning the death of her mother.
Njoki’s mother Mercy Nyaithiru was taken to a United States hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.
She has been battling with this illness for quite some while until Sunday, November 15, when she passed on.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, when paying tribute to the judge’s family noted that Nyaithiru was a hardworking and selfless woman. Her efforts to building the country will be missed so much.
“Mama Victoria Nyaithiru was a God-fearing woman who believed that ultimately all good things are the result of a life of honesty, faith, and hard work,” he said in a statement from the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit.
Nyaithiru’s passion and love for community development and growth and education at large have been noted by Uhuru. The President says that it can be seen in the manner she contributed to the country’s development and growth.
“Certainly we can see the fruits of her keen parenting through her children some of whom are prominent leaders of our times,” he stated.
As much as judge Njoki is mourning her mother, Kenya as a whole celebrates the life of Nyaithiru. This is because she has played a key role in developing the country in many aspects.
So many Kenyans have taken it to different social media platforms to pay their tribute to the life well-lived by Nyaithiru.
