Finally, Shakilla makes a public apology concerning the sex scandal with Victor Wanyama
Shakilla finally publicly apologized to the Kenyan soccer star, Victor Wanyama. She had pulled him into a suspected intimacy controversy in September of this year.
October 15, 2020, Wanyama vowed to sue the beauty queen, weeks after saying, during the InstaLive with Xtian Dela, that he had offered her KSh 700,000 for intimacy. Wanyama completely distanced himself from the allegations. Today, the girl came out to make a public apology to the International soccer star.
Reading a letter from her team of lawyers from a brief film clip, Shakilla says she was misled during the InstaLive. Revealing that she had never met or had a relationship with the leader of the Harambee Stars.
“My name is Shakilla and I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Victor Wanyama. And say sorry about the horrible thing that I said about him. I’ve never met Victor, neither has he paid me or had sex with me,” she starts off. https://www.vdjjones.co.ke/blog/are-they-bahatis-real-brothers/
“I was drinking at the time and was happy about being on Xtian Dela’s Live show. Therefore I apologize to his family and I’m sorry for any pain that I may have caused,” her statement reads.
“And also I would like to take this opportunity to warn young people about the dangers of social media. And the risk of being mislead into chasing fame, by those seeking to exploit us and profit from our mistakes,” Shakilla stated.
She’s asking all those who have written her fake stories about Wanyama to put them down with effect immediately or face legal action brought against them.
“Once again, I’m sorry to Victor and his family. Thank you,” she wraps up.
