Calif Records is a Kenyan record label based in Nairobi’s California estate, known for the Genge genre of music. It was founded in 2000 by record executive & producer Clement “Clemo” Rapudo, together with Juacali and Nonini. It is among two leading music production houses in Kenya, the other being Ogopa Deejays.
Ogopa Deejays is a prominent Kenyan music production team and record label, known for their unique boomba (Kapuka) sound, a blend of modern hip-hop, dancehall, and African rhythms. They are based in Nairobi and are widely recognized for their quality production standards. The team consists of brothers Francis and Lucas Bikedo, along with their manager Banda according to Music In Africa
